Diggers, rollers, crawler excavators – construction machines are just as diverse as the construction sites they’re used on. Yet time and again, construction and agricultural machines, lorries and vans disappear from construction sites. Just as with car theft, the perpetrators are professionals, selling on the machines and vehicles, often abroad. Even individual components such as batteries and fuels are targeted by thieves. Given that many construction sites are in rural areas lacking infrastructure, the security measures taken are often insufficient. It’s so often easy pickings for thieves. In contrast, the companies suffer huge financial losses, not to mention delays in construction and reputational damage. However, by no means all incidents are reported to the police owing to the fear of problems with the insurance and rising contributions. The police are therefore often unaware of the incidents and the perpetrators remain at large.

The LivEye® One & One+ 230V camera systems are weather-resistant and can be used flexibly – the location can be changed at any time and adapted to the respective construction phase. Many contractors resort to containers to secure valuable construction machines and tools overnight. But these containers are frequently broken open. The LivEye® Light+ compact system is perfectly suitable for indoor use and provides additional protection.
In order to protect your construction machines, we initially develop a comprehensive safety concept. Our solutions provide reliable surveillance at any time of day or night. The orange lighting acts as a deterrent and has a preventive effect at night, whilst movements are reliably detected by the intelligent analysis software. It can easily differentiate between people, animals, vehicles and recurring movements and thus reduces the error rate to a minimum. If the system detects a suspicious movement, our continuously staffed Video Monitoring and Alarm Centre is immediately alerted. The operator on duty then takes the appropriate follow-up measures. The person is initially spoken to and asked to leave the premises via the integrated loud-speaker system. If they ignore this demand, we inform the police.
